About me

Training & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Applied Psychology: this training gave me a very good insight into human behaviour and how we can improve wellbeing.

  •  Advanced Diploma in Counselling: I trained as an Integrative Counsellor, this means I can adapt the way I work to each individual client, using tools from a variety of Counselling theories.

  • Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course (MBSR). I find Mindfulness offers some excellent coping strategies for managing anxiety.

  • National Autistic Society:  I supported autistic adults online. I have completed training on Autism and I completed my Research Project in Counselling Autistic individuals.

  • Transactional Analysis, TA101 training: I find this theory very helpful when I'm working with clients who are struggling with their relationships, whether it's romantic relationships, friendships, family relationships or professional ones. TA can help us see the patterns we fall into without realising it, once we become aware of these, we can work on making changes.

  • NLP Coaching: this offers many useful tools that help clients to start moving forward when they feel ready to.

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Diploma:  I have undertaken additional training in the area of anxiety disorders and CBT.

  • Mental Health First Aider
